Amid Channel Culling Trend, Pluto TV Expands Lineup with LGBTQ+ Streaming Network Revry
The FAST boom has lowered the barrier to entry for media companies that want to put up single show channels, or experiment with combinations of interests. But that exploding long tail has created a backlash with fragmentation - putting pressure on services to get the righ mix of quality programming and loyal audiences right.
In a move to enhance its content offering and commit to LGBTQ+ representation in today’s media climate, Pluto TV has partnered with Revry, the first global LGBTQ+ digital TV network, to launch a dedicated LGBTQ+ channel.
Revry’s channel on Pluto TV will provide a unique streaming experience for queer viewers, delivering a curated selection of entertainment. Among the highlights are two newly announced Revry Original Series: King of Drag, hosted by Murray Hill, and Unconventional, starring Kit Williamson. Fans of the drag scene can also enjoy the GLAAD Award-winning Drag Latina Season 3, as well as sports programming from the International Vogue League, including the highly anticipated Pride Ball and Halloween Ball, along with the star-studded 10th Annual QueerX Awards.
Founded in 2015, Revry has carved out a niche as the only dedicated entertainment media network offering an inclusive platform for LGBTQ+ voices. By showcasing original series, films, and programs from major studios, Revry has become the de facto LGBTQ+ streaming, with over 25 FAST channels worldwide. The company’s commitment to amplifying queer culture and fostering inclusivity has earned it recognition as a key player in the streaming industry.
Damian Peliccione, co-founder and CEO of Revry, emphasized the significance of the launch, saying, "The launch of our enhanced FAST channel on Pluto TV marks a major milestone for queer culture. Partnering with Pluto TV allows us to amplify the diverse voices of the queer community and share our unique, inclusive programming with an even broader audience."
Amy Kuessner, EVP of Programming at Pluto TV, echoed this sentiment, noting, “Partnering with Revry to bring their channel to Pluto TV’s lineup is an incredible way to kick off 2025. Pluto TV is dedicated to delivering diverse and inclusive content that resonates with audiences everywhere, and adding Revry’s latest premium titles and originals ensures we are delivering on that promise.”
Revry’s channel is now available under Pluto TV’s Entertainment category, offering an easy-to-access platform for queer viewers looking for engaging, inclusive content. Pluto TV, a Paramount Company, is known for its free streaming service, offering live linear channels and on-demand titles across all major mobile, CTV, and web devices.
